Drain and Spin Operation
When attempting to drain the water from the tub
during any selected cycle, it is normal for the drain
SXPSWRF\FOHRQDQGRȺWKUHHWLPHVZLWKLQWKH¿UVW
30 seconds. It will remain on the third time.
Once the water is drained from the basket, the
SXPSZLOODJDLQWXUQRȺ7KHZDVKHUZLOOVLWLGOH
approximately 2 minutes letting the water drain
from the clothes. After two minutes of idle time, it
will turn back on.
The drive motor will turn on, spinning the basket and
ramping up to the target spin speed. It does this by
WXUQLQJWKHGULYHPRWRURQDQGRȺDSSUR[LPDWHO\
times, increasing speed each time. The drive motor
will then remain on until the spin part of the cycle
has completed.
This operation allows water that had been spun
out of the clothes during the spin to drain without
causing a suds lock.
Redistribution Attempt
The washer will attempt to redistribute an out of
EDODQFHORDGRQFHSHUF\FOHLQWKH¿QDOVSLQXS
The redistribution attempt consists of the following
sequence.
• The washer will try to reach the target spin
speed one time.
• If the washer cannot get to the target spin
speed, it will stop, reset the cycle time to 21
PLQXWHVWKHQ¿OOZLWKZDWHUDSSURSULDWHIRUWKH
selected cycle load.

2QFH¿OOLQJLVFRPSOHWHWKHZDVKHUZLOOVZLWFK
to agitate in order to jog the clothes and
redistribute them in the basket.
• After the redistribution attempt is complete,
the water will be drained and the washer will
attempt to reach the target spin speed again.
If the target spin speed is not reached, the cycle will
be aborted and “Unbalanced Error” will be shown in
the display.

Manually redistribute the load in the basket. Power
the control back on, select spin and load size, press
start. If the target spin speed is reached, the cycle
will continue until it is completed.
