Secondary Thermal Interface
On conduction-cooled versions of boards and mezzanines the PMC modules
may be equipped with optional Secondary Thermal Interfaces. If the PMCs do
not fit into their sockets on the VR11 base board then you can remove them.
Use a matching TORX screw driver to remove the Secodary Thermal
Interfaces. For mounting use a torque of 0.3 Nm to fix the screws or use
minimum force to tighten the screws. Add only a short turn (~1/16
th
) when the
screw starts to get tight.
