Using the Flash Button
Use the flash when you take pictures at night, indoors, or
outdoors in heavy shadows.

Press the Flash button
to cycle through flash
modes.The current flash
mode appears at the
bottom of the LCD.
Using the Focus Button
Mode
Description
Normal AF
(Auto Focus)
AF
Normal picture taking.
Infinity AF
Distant scenery or taking pictures
through a window. (Turn off the flash
when taking pictures through glass)
Macro
Subject-to-lens distances from:
• 0–60 cm (3.9–23.6 in.) @ wide
• 2.2–3.0 m (7.2–9.8 ft) @ telephoto
Super Macro
Subject-to-lens distances from:
–5 cm (0.4–5.9 in.) @ wide
Press the Focus Button to cycle
