HIDDEN BAKE ASSEMBLY
To Remove:
1. Disconnect power.
2. Pull out the unit so the left side is exposed.
3. Prop up or remove the cooktop (see Cooktop Removal section).
4. Remove the outer side panel via the visible hex screws and the one blind screw
inside the front of the drawer compartment.
5. Remove the side insulation retainer by removing the two screws on the base and
unhooking the wire insulation retainers at the top.
6. Disconnect the hidden bake ground wire and unplug the hidden bake element.
7. Inside the oven cavity, remove the screw in the lower left corner.
8. Slide out the hidden bake assembly from under the oven.
To Replace:
1. Make sure the bottom insulation is fully covering the bottom of the base module.
2. Slide in the hidden bake assembly from the side, being careful not to displace the
insulation.
3. Reattach the side insulation retainer and hidden bake ground wire.
4. Reconnect the screw at the lower left inside the oven cavity.
5. Plug the hidden bake wire harness into the element terminals.
6. Reattach the outer side panel and the cooktop.
7. Plug in the unit, test it and slide it back into place.

CONVECTION FAN
ERC FAILURE CODES
The oven may stop operating but not give an F-code on the display immediately.
F-codes are stored in nonvolatile eeprom memory until 2 of the same faults occur
consecutively. After that, it will be displayed. F-codes can be recalled by pressing
together the 3, 1, and 0 pads. While F-codes are displayed, pressing 8 and 6 together
will clear them. A fault must exist continuously for 5 minutes before an F-code is
recorded (F2, F8 are sooner).
MOTORIZED DOOR LOCK
The motorized door lock assembly is located above the oven. The assembly consists

MOTORIZED DOOR LOCK (CONT.)
Motorized Door Lock Operation:
NOTE:
To enable proper operation of the door lock, ensure that the door jamb switch
is in “common” to “normally closed” (door closed). This enables power to be delivered
when the door lock closes.
NOTE:
Display of Control will flash “
LOCK
” if the door switch is in the “
C
” (common) to
“
NO
” (normally open) position (door open).
•
The words “
LOCK
” will flash on and off in the display while the lock motor is in
motion. When the door is locked, the word “
LOCK
” remain illuminated in the dis-
play.

QUARTER TOP HEAT – There is an additional relay which connects the L1 side of
Broil to neutral instead of L1, therefore applying 120V to the broil element during
select modes or portions of modes. Quarter top heat is on with the bake element
during the following cycles: Bake preheat & steady state, Convection bake preheat,
Convection roast preheat and steady state and Self Clean stage 2.

with one element on at a time. The convection fan also operates while preheating
and will turn off once the set temperature is reached. Once the bake preheat
temperature is reached, the bake and broil elements cycle for the balance of the
bake operation with one element on at a time.
•
CLEAN – The broil element is on only during the first 30 minutes or until the sensor
reaches 750°F. During the balance of the clean cycle, the oven will cycle between
the bake and broil units.
