POWER
This section outlines the power requirements, electrical connections and related aspects
that must be observed.
The power source must be rated 90 V AC to 264 V AC, 47 Hz to 63 Hz. A 10 A
to 15 A circuit meeting these requirements must be available at the time of
installation. The installation must be done in accordance with local wiring
regulations.
The product contains a power supply that can accommodate 90 V AC to 264 V
AC, 47 Hz to 63 Hz, single phase (factory set) and draws 6 amps maximum.
Ensure that the mains power of the product is connected to a circuit that is
continually on to ensure its continuous operation.
Disconnection is through an external switch or circuit breaker that must be
installed on the mains supply line near the product. The fitted switch or
breaker shall be rated at 10 A minimum 250 V AC minimum.
The switch or circuit breaker shall be approved to IEC60947-1 or IEC60947-3
and installed in accordance with local wiring regulations. The switch or
breaker shall be identified as the disconnect device for the product and
should be located where it is visible from the product and easily accessible.
