Time Defrost is designed for speedy thawing of
frozen food and is one of 

 great advantages of a

microwave oven.

Use the Time Defrost setting to 

 thaw foods

such as 

 rolls, vegetables, fruits and frozen

dinners. The Auto Defrost setting is preferred for
meat and poultry 

 the oven sets the defrosting

time and power levels for you.

Power Level 3 is 

 set when you press

 DEFROST 

 but you may change this for

more flexibility.

How to Change Power 

1. Press TIME DEFROST.

2. Select defrosting time.

3. Press 

 

4. Select power.

5. Press START.

To become better acquainted with the defrost
function, defrost a 10 

 package of frozen

strawberries by following the steps below.

Step 1: Place a package of frozen strawberries in
the oven and close door. Be sure package contains
no metal.

Step 2: Touch 

 DEFROST.

Step 3: Select one 

 of the total defrosting time

 For example, touch pads 4, 0 and O

for 4 minutes.

Step 4: Touch

Step 5: Turn the package over, close the door and
repeat Steps 2 and 3 to set remaining
