Insert clips into slots at bottom of channel on
both the left and right side. Secure clip to window
stool with screw provided.

Cut foam sash-gap gasket to window width
and stuff between top of lower sash and glass
pane of upper sash to provide seal.

Install the sash bracket to secure the air
conditioner and lock both sashes in place.

REMOVAL FROM WINDOW
1.
Turn
air conditioner off and disconnect
power cord.
2. Remove sash-gap gasket from between
windows and unscrew metal sash bracket from
window.
3. Remove screws installed through top of sliding
panels into lower sash and clips holding channels
to stool.
4. Close curtains. KEEPING A FIRM GRIP ON
AIR CONDITIONER, raise sash and carefully
rock air conditioner backward and drain major
portion of water in base of unit. Care should be
taken in lifting unit from window to avoid spilling
any remaining water.
5. Store parts for reuse along with air conditioner.

SPECIAL INSTALLATION
1.
For windows from 36” to 49” in width, order
an extra wide kit,
from your dealer or
distributor.
2. For installation in a slider window application,
(16” to 48”), order kit RAK109A from your dealer
or distributor.
3. To overcome storm window interference,
attach a 2 inch wide wood strip to the stool, with
either nails or screws. Strip should be as wide as
window opening and flush with back side of stool.
Thickness of wood strip should be determined by
the amount of interference.
