Heat-Cool Control

 this control for either cooling

or heating operation.

OFF turns air conditioner off.

HEAT provides heating only.

COOL provides cooling only.

AUTO provides heating and/or
cooling necessary to maintain the
desired room temperature.

Temperature Control

Position this control at the
desired temperature setting and that
temperature will automatically be
maintained.

A normal time delay of up to three

minutes may be required for the
air conditioner to respond to
changes in the temperature 

Fan Control

Set this control for the desired fan

operation.

ON permits continuous fan operation
even when the air conditioner is not
cooling or heating.

 permits fan operation only

when the air conditioner is cooling
or heating.

Thermometer

The thermometer shows the actual
room temperature.

For best distribution of cold air,
tilt the louvers up so the cold air is
directed toward the ceiling.

For best heat distribution,  tilt the

louvers down so the heated air is
directed across the room.

For 

 heating and cooling

certification, the air louvers are
tilted straight out as shown above
(30 degrees from the vertical axis).
