Install the Air Conditioner in the Window

Slide the air conditioner onto the support
platform. Be sure the side channels butts
against the vertical window jamb and the
filler panel frame is against the top window
jamb. Slide the inner window sash firmly
against the side of the air conditioner and
trim any excess from the foam gasket.

Screw 2 Type B screws through the two holes
in the middle of the bottom bar. Depending
on the window configuration, this may
require drilling two 1/8

holes in the

window channel to align with the existing
holes in the bottom bar.

Drill 1/8

holes to align with the existing

holes in the frame. Secure with 2 Type C
screws.

NOTE: 

Check all seals and plug any remaining air 

gaps with a suitable weatherproof caulk.

and readjust the leveling bolt.

Attach the window locking bracket with a
Type C screw.

On sliding window installations, cut the
second long foam gasket to the proper
length and stuff it between the 2 windows.
