NSTALLATION
1. Make sure the mounting bracket is securely fastened.
2. Set the TONE/PULSE switch on the bottom of the unit to TONE for touch-
tone service, or PULSE for rotary service. If you don’t know which type
of service you have, check with the phone company.
3. Plug one end of the coiled handset cord into the handset and the other
end into the jack on the side of the base. Place the handset in the base.
4. Plug one end of the telephone line cord into the jack on the base and the
other end into a modular jack.
5. Set the RINGER switch on the left side of the base to the desired
loudness.
•
HI = Default setting, loudest sound.
•
= Sound will be lower
•
= Sound will be the lowest.
• OFF = Telephone will not ring.
