and connect it to the ground. According to the
height of the counter, pull out the telescopic
conductive rod of the head to a suitable length
before the power is turned on. The green light is
on after the power is turned on, and when the red
light is on (about 3 to 5 seconds), the lightning
arrester counter can be tested by the telescopic
conductive rod of the head.
The instrument can be tested repeatedly
without turning off the power (the conductive rod
should leave the test sample each time it is
charged).
Remember: After the test, turn off the power
first, and then discharge the head conductive rod
to the tail ground before putting the instrument
away.
The instrument is powered by No. 1 battery
(four cells), which can be used for more than
2000 discharge tests. If the battery power is low,
the charging time will be prolonged and should be
replaced in time.
Recommendation: Take out the dry battery
from the instrument if it is not used for a long time!
