OPERATION CSD-2 GAS ALARM PANEL SIGNALING
Under normal operating conditions a loop current of approximately 4mA (zero signal) is generated by resistor
(B)
(1K5) and the
EOL resistor
(A)
(4K7) all

resistors other than for the last device should be removed. When in alarm condition any triggered
device will short circuit the end of line resistor allowing the 1K5 CLR
(B)
resistor to take priority increasing the loop current to
approximately 16mA and signal the alarm panel. A momentary key switch
(C)
is required for device reset.
