INSTALLATION
For ease of installation, it is suggested that the wheel be removed.
1.
Fasten the LH mount bracket to the left hand flap with 3 machine screws / small washers and nylock
nuts to Holes #1, #2 and #3 or if you prefer the flap mounted higher and farther away from the ground
then use Holes #4, #5 and #6.
See Diagram #1.
2.
Bolt the LH bracket to the LH mount bracket of the LH mud flap assembly on holes #9 and #10
with machine screws/half washers/ washers/lock washers/hex nuts.
(See Diagram #2.)
Loosely
secure at this point.
3.
Push the flap up against the wheel well and raise the flap assembly until the LH bracket is up
against the bottom of the truck box frame.
See Diagram #2.
4.
Fasten the flap with 2 TEK screws and 2 flat washers on holes #7 and #8. Loosely secure
at this point. It is a good idea at this time to temporarily reinstall the tire in order to square the flap.
.
Push the LH bracket toward the back until the flap is parallel to the tire and then drill two 1/8” pilot
holes from the center of the slotted holes on the LH bracket through the box flange and tighten
with #10 TEK screws and half washers. Tighten remaining screws.
Check all fasteners for tightness. Repeat procedure on the other side.
