A.2 X.21 Module Adapters (MA-420 and MA-421)
The MA-420 and MA-421 module adapters (MAs) provide X.21 and external timing connectivity for the
DS-64NC module and other Intraplex data channel modules. The MA-420 module adapter (Figure A-8)
provides an X.21 DCE interface; the MA-421 module adapter (Figure A-9) provides an X.21 DTE
interface. Both MAs have jumpers that affect their operations (Table A-1). Table A-2 and Table A-3 list
the pin-outs for the MA connectors.
