5. USE
The refrigeration cabinets are started up by means of an electronic control unit and switches. In the
combined models, the controls are double and independent.
The permitted operations are:
•
POWER ON/OFF:
Press the ON/OFF switch (Number 1 - see FIGURE 1): the display will show the temperature
in the cabinet and the compressor operating LED and the internal fan operating LED (delayed)
will light up.
•
TEMPERATURE SETTING:
Pressing the SET button you can read the set temperature. To change the temperature if
necessary, keep the SET button pressed and press the UP or DOWN button (see FIGURE 1)
within 15 seconds to raise or lower the temperature respectively. Then confirm the new set
value by pressing the SET button within 10 seconds of the previous operation. The LED will
flash for 2 seconds to confirm, accept and store the new data set.

DISPLAY OF ALARM CODE:
In the event of errors or malfunctions, the control unit signals these by flashing the following
alarm codes on the display: PF1, PF2, HLA, LLA, HtA, LtA.
If these codes are displayed, make a note of them, switch the controller off and on again. If
the problem persists, contact technical support and notify them of the registered error codes.

FOOD STORAGE:
Food should only be placed in the appliance after it has reached the desired temperature. Do
not introduce hot food or exposed liquids; pack and protect food; do not obstruct the air
circulation inside the refrigerator cabinet; avoid frequent and prolonged door openings; wait
a few moments before opening the door again as soon as it is closed.

DEFROSTING:
The control unit automatically starts 4 defrost cycles in 24 hours. The timer will detect the
time from the moment it is first turned on. To carry out a manual defrost cycle, simply press
the SBR defrost button (see FIGURE 1) for 3 seconds and an instant automatic defrost will
take place for the next 6 hours. During this phase, the defrost indicator will light up on the
display. The elimination of defrosting water is automatic in all models.
