OPERATION
The Mini Chopper works extremely quick; most kinds of food are processed within
some seconds. The Mini Chopper is designed only for short time operation of max.
1 minute. If you need it for longer, switch it off after 1 minute and allow the motor
to cool for 3 minutes.
The appliance has a safety contact, which prevents switching on of the appliance if
the motor is not positioned correctly on the lid.
If the motor stalls or sticks during operation, immediately release the on/off button
and unplug the power connector. Check whether there is any obstruction in the con-
tainer, and remove it (see ›Care and Cleaning‹). Do not overfill the container. Pos-
sibly, take some food out of the container, using a wooden or plastic spoon, before
starting the appliance again.
Do not insert your fingers in the container.
BEFORE FIRST USE
WARNING: The blades of the knife insert are extremely sharp! Do not
touch the blades. Always grasp the knife insert by the shaft. Do not lea-
ve young children play with the appliance or any part of it or the packing
material.
After unpacking, remove all promotional and packing materials as well as any
foreign objects.
Before first use and after a long period of storage, clean the appliance with a damp
soft cloth and warm soapy water (see: ›Care and Cleaning‹).
PROCESSING THE FOOD
WARNING: Always release the on/off button, wait until the motor
stops and unplug the appliance before assembling/disassembling. The
blades of the knife insert are extremely sharp! Do not touch the blades.
Always grasp the knife insert by the shaft.
Before connecting the appliance to the mains power supply, always ensure that the
appliance is assembled correctly, according to the following instructions, and there
are no foreign objects or hard parts of the food in the container (i.e. cooking uten-
sils, tissues, bones or seeds).
Do not operate the appliance while empty.
The appliance has a safety contact, which prevents switching on of the appliance if

Do not chop very hard ingredients such as coffee beans, nutmeg, grain or ice. Do
not pour hot liquids into the container.
