NOTE
Do not leave the appliance operate uselessly to avoid useless energy consumption.
You may cancel any dehydration cycle at any time by holding the On/Off button
pressed until the LCD display gets dark.
10. If you do not wish to operate the appliance again, ensure that the appliance is
switched off (LCD display is dark and empty) and unplug the appliance.
11. Clean the appliance and all used parts after each use (see: ‘Care and Cleaning’).
PAUSE FUNCTION
You should use the pause function, whenever you wish to open the dehydration
chamber during operation. Additionally, with the dehydration cycle interrupted, you
can modify the set temperature.
NOTE
As soon as possible, re-assume operation of the heating element and fan via the
Start/Stop button to avoid that the interior of the dehydration chamber cools down.
1. For interrupting the operation of the heating element and fan, simply press the
Start/Stop button
once. The LCD display is illuminated and the
set
dehy-
drating time is shown.
2. If you wish to change the set temperature, press the SET button. Then turn the
adjusting dial to enter the desired temperature.
3. If you wish to re-assume operation, press the Start/Stop button again. The remai-
ning dehydrating time of the current dehydration cycle is shown again. To switch
off the appliance and cancel the current dehydration cycle, hold the On/Off but-
ton pressed until the LCD display gets dark. If you wish to dehydrate another
portion of food, you can switch on the appliance again with the default settings
(50°C, 6:00 hours) by pressing the On/Off button shortly.
MAKING MUESLI BARS
Via the muesli pans, you can create your own muesli bars, giving a convenient and
healthy snack between meals and on the way.
1. Prepare the muesli dough according to your favourite recipe.
2. Spread the muesli dough in the wells of the muesli pans avoiding to overfill the
wells.
