If the measure menu does not appear and there is an error message in Calcmet
Lite (Calcmet Lite Demo Mode), it means that the Bluetooth connection is not
established with the analyser or that the power sequence on the analyser failed.
Please, ensure that the power supply is correct both on the PDA and on the
analyser side and restart the start up procedure. In addition, you may need to
shorten the physical distance in between the PDA and the analyser.

Hardware Status
The first step to accomplish after powering up the DX4040 is to measure some
hardware parameters in order to validate the functioning of the analyser. A simple
check in Calcmet Lite of the hardware status informs the user that the instrument is
ready to operate.
In order to confirm the hardware status, select Measure → Hardware Status. After 1
second, the hardware parameters should appear (Figure 16).
