
Operation In Case Of Emergency
In the event of an emergency, you should:
• Switch off all working units of the appliance.
• Disconnect the mains plug.
• Contact GASLAND Chef for after-sale service.
• Some minor faults can be fixed by referring to the instructions given in the table
below. Before contact GASLAND Chef for after-sale service check the following
points that are presented in the table.
Problem
Oven does not work or
appears not to work.
Oven light does not work.
Fan noise.
My oven door glass
appears to be "tinted" or
have a "rainbow" color.
Is this defective?
No, the inner oven glass
is coated with a heat
barrier to reflect the heat
back into the oven to
prevent heat loss and
keep the outer door cool
while baking.
This is normal. Under
certain light or angles, you
may see this tint or
rainbow color.
Oven controls improperly
set.
Light bulb is loose or
damaged.
A cooling fan may
automatically turn on.
This is normal. The cooling
fan will turn on to cool
internal parts. It may run for

A fuse in your home may
be blown or the circuit
breaker tripped.
