Fuel tap

The fuel tap is on the left side of the fuel tank.
Using the tap handle

1

on the fuel tap, you can open or close the fuel

supply to the carburetor.

Possible states

• Fuel supply closed

OFF

–

Fuel cannot flow from the fuel tank to the

carburetor.

• Open fuel supply

ON

–

Fuel can flow from the fuel tank to the car-

buretor. The fuel tank empties completely.

Choke

Choke

1

is fitted on the left side of the carburetor.

Activating the choke function frees a drill hole in the carburetor through
which the engine can draw extra fuel. This results in a richer fuel-air mix-
ture, which is needed for a cold start.

If the engine is warm, the choke function must be deactivated.

Possible states

• Choke function activated

The choke lever is pulled out to the

stop.
