TIP:
For best results, you should install the devices where user
traffic passes within 5 m (16 ft.) of the devices from multiple
directions. For example, install devices at a T intersection where
users approach from three directions.
Sync Times
Sync times vary based on the distance of the user from the
device, and on the amount of time that has passed since the
user last synced with the device.
NOTE:
Sync times depend on the type of activity tracker. The
average sync times listed below are for the vívokí
™
device.

Troubleshooting
Resetting the Device

Remove the micro-USB connector from the device.
The device turns off.

Reconnect the micro-USB connector to the device.
The device turns on automatically.
Using the Status LEDs for Troubleshooting
The status LEDs can help when troubleshooting problems.

The device has the wrong SSID or password for the

The device cannot complete the DHCP process (if

The device is initializing.

configured wireless network. Confirm that the
appropriate exceptions have been made (
device communicate and what can be done to ensure
connectivity?
).
The device OAuth credentials are invalid.
NOTE:
If you did not receive the device from Garmin,
contact your wellness partner to ensure the device was
not previously registered using different OAuth
credentials. A vívohub device can only be registered to
one set of OAuth credentials at a time.
TIP:
Ensure you are using the latest firmware. Contact
Garmin or your wellness partner for the latest firmware
version.
NOTE:
The red LED sequence is a fast blink, followed by the
solid state, followed by the off state. In this sequence, the solid
red LED indicates that the device connected successfully to the
wireless network and that DHCP passed (if configured).
