7.2 SOFTWARE
UPDATE
The GTX 330/33 comes pre-loaded from the factory with software. However, the Software Version
number must match the approved version listed in the AML Equipment List Doc. 005-00734-05. If a unit
is replaced and does not have the approved version of software installed, software can be downloaded
from the Dealer Resource Center at www.flyGarmin.com. For dual GTX installations the software
loading procedures below must be carried out on each GTX.
The GTX 330 software can be updated in the Configuration mode as well as in Test mode. Updating
software in Configuration mode does not require the TEST MODE SELECT switch. However, for the
GTX 33 series, the TEST MODE SELECT switch is required. See Figure 14 for software update
connections.
