Menu Settings
Select Setup > Menus.
Menu Style: Changes the appearance of the main menu.
Main Menu: Allows you to move, add, and delete items in the main menu (
).
Page Sequence: Allows you to move, add, and delete items in the page sequence (
).
Setup: Changes the order of items in the setup menu.
Find: Changes the order of items in the find menu.
Customizing the Main Menu
You can move, add, and delete items in the main menu.
1 From the main menu, select MENU > Change Item Order.
2 Select a menu item.
3 Select an option:
• Select Move to change the placement of the item in the list.
• Select Insert to add a new item to the list.
• Select Remove to delete an item from the list.
Customizing and Sharing the Main Menu
You can customize the main menu, save your customization as a new profile, and share the profile with other
GPSMAP 66i devices. This allows you to display the same main menu settings on multiple devices. This can be
useful if you share multiple devices with other users in your organization.
1 Customize the main menu by adding, moving, and deleting items as needed (
).
2 Create a new profile (

).
The new profile is created with a default name and number. For example, Profile 10. Your main menu
customizations are saved to the new profile.
3 Change the name of your new profile to something easily recognizable (

).
4 Connect the device to your computer using the USB cable (
Connecting the Device to Your Computer,
).
5 On your computer, open the file browser, and open the Garmin > Profiles folder.
6 Copy the .gpf file with the recognizable profile name to your computer.
7 Connect the next GPSMAP 66i device to your computer, and copy the .gpf file to the Garmin > Profiles folder.
8 On the GPSMAP 66i device, select Profile Change from the main menu to select the new profile (
).
9 Repeat steps 5 through 8 for each additional GPSMAP 66i device.
