SERVICE
BULLETINS
Service
Bulletins
may
be
issued
on
product
for
either
software
or
hardware
changes.
The
Service
Bulletin
will
indicate
if
the
change
can
be
made
in
the
field
or
if
the
unit
must
be
returned
to
a
Garmin
facility.
It
will
also
indicate
in
the
WARRANTY
INFORMATION
section
if
the
labor
is
reimbursable
and
what
conditions
must
be
met
for
reimbursement.
The
maximum
limit
for
time
reimbursement
will
be
listed
in
the
MANPOWER
section
of
the
Service
Bulletin.
The
most
current
software
version
should
always
be
installed.
In
some
cases,
conditions
for
reimbursement
require
that
the
unit
must
be
under
the
original
new
product
warranty.
Other
Service
Bulletins
are
Non
‐
Reimbursable.
The
only
exception
to
this
situation
is
the
case
of
a
Software
Service
Bulletin.
New
software
releases
include
all
previous
software
updates
for
the
unit.
Should
the
unit
be
missing
a
previous
software
update
that
was
required,
the
unit
will
be
eligible
for
reimbursement
for
the
time
allotted
on
the
last
required
software
change,
up
to
one
hour,
provided
that
the
most
current
software
version
is
installed.
If
more
than
one
software
is
being
updated
(example:
main
and
GPS)
on
a
unit,
reimbursement
will
be
limited
to
up
to
one
hour
combined,
despite
the
eligibility
of
reimbursement
for
multiple
Software
Service
Bulletins.
Upon
the
release
of
a
Software
Service
Bulletin,
the
service
center
or
distributor
will
have
30
days
to
exchange
for
the
latest
software
update.
Service
Bulletins
complied
with
for
previous
software
versions
after
the
30
days
will
no
longer
be
eligible
for
reimbursement.

all
Service
Bulletins
issued
for
a
unit,
please
visit
the
Dealers
Only
section
of
the
Garmin
website
at
www.garmin.com
under
Technical
Bulletins
&
Advisories.
A
User
ID
and
password
are
required.
Please
contact
your
Account
Representative
for
lost
or
new
ID’s
and
passwords.
