If your device is not connected to an ignition-switched vehicle 

power outlet, you should turn off the device when your 

vehicle is not in use to prevent the dash camera from 

recording unneeded footage.

• Transfer saved video footage to a computer.

On Mac computers and some Windows computers, the device 

connects using USB mass storage mode. In USB mass storage

Service Pack 3 use USB mass storage mode.

If you have several network drives mapped on your 

computer, Windows may have trouble assigning drive letters to 

your Garmin drives. For information about assigning drive
