Any
files
not
listed
here
should
be
deleted
from

cards.

cards
unless
directed
to
by
Garmin

Formatting cards will delete all databases requiring them to be reloaded from

File:
This
file
is
placed
on
the
card
by
the
system.
A
brand
new
card
will
NOT
have
this

level

#.
If
this
file
is
deleted,
the
system
will
add
it
back
onto
the
card
automatically.
It
will
not
interfere
with
the
operation
of
the
databases
if
it
is
missing.
Feat_unlk.dat
File:
This
file
is
placed
on
the
card
when
the
databases
are
written
to
the
card.
It
is
required.
It
controls
the
copy
protection
for
all
the
databases
on
the
card.
If
this
file
is
missing,
NO
databases
on
the
card
will
be
accepted
by
the
avionics.
If
it
is
deleted,
all
databases
will
need
to
be
reinstalled
using
fly.garmin.com
.

Avtn_db_stby.bin
File:
This
is
the
optional
standby
Jeppesen
Navigation
database.
It
is
loaded
onto
the
card
from
a
regular
Nav
database
SD
loader
card
in
the
top
slot.
It
will
not
interfere
with
the
operation
of
the
databases
if
it
is
missing.
