7. MACHINE USAGE
Use this machine only for jobs for which it has
been designed. The use of this machine for any other
jobs is dangerous and can cause dangers to the users
and/or to the machine.
Work only with good light. Do not use this machine at
night, with fog or with reduced visibility that does not
allow you to clearly see the working area.
Limit the usage of the machine to 10 minute stints
and rest for a further 10 to 20 minutes in between
sessions.
Avoid using the machine when the ground is wet or
humid. Be especially careful when using the machine
after it has rained as the ground will be slippery and
you could fall.
If you lose your balance or fall, let go of the handle
switch immediately.
Do not use this machine if you are tired, sick, are taking
medicines, or if under the effect of alcohol or drugs.
The lack of rest and fatigue can cause accidents and
damages.
Do not expose this machine to rain and wet and
humid conditions. If water enters the machine there
will be a higher risk of electric shock.
Do not rely solely on the security elements of the
machine.
It is important to check that all parts are well
tightened. If you detect any anomaly, stop the machine
straight away and check the machine carefully. In
case of any damage, take the machine to your nearest
service agent. Never carrying on working if the
machine is not working correctly.
Remember to always use the machine with clean
hands and without petrol and oil.
Clean the working area and remove any obstacles
that could cause accidents. Check the workplace and
remove all elements that could be at risk of being
propelled from the workplace towards other people.
Do not allow anybody to enter the working area.
This working perimeter is 15 metres and this is a
dangerous zone.
Never use the machine when on top of a ladder, in a
tree or in any other unstable surface.
When moving from one working area to the next, turn
off the engine.
Never let the machine unattended.
Do not use any accessories that are not originals
and that have not been recommended by the
manufacturer. Use of other accessories can cause
accidents and can be dangerous for the end user
and those nearby as well as causing damages to the
machine.
Always follow the security rules that we indicate in the
manual.
7.1. HOW TO HOLD THE MACHINE AND GUIDE IT
WHILST WORKING
Whilst working, always place yourself behind the
machine and hold it firmly with both hands on the
handles.
