Oil change
The oil change interval strongly depends on how the machine
is loaded (operating time, operating conditions, etc.) and the
type of oil used. Extreme load can reduce the lifetime of oil.
The specified interval of 8,000 h only applies to oil that has
been delivered or is approved by Elmo Rietschle.

7.3 Preparing maintenance works
a) Switch the plant off electrically and secure it against unexpected restart.
b) Bleed the machine to atmospheric pressure.
c) Allow the machine to fully cool down.
Exception: Oil change, here the pump shall be still hot, because oil can then better flow off.
d) Post the warning sign "Caution, maintenance works!".
