7. USE
Carry out all the steps gently, careful not to damage the kit components.
ASSEMBLY AND DISASSEMBLY OF THE DEVICE COMPONENTS
Prepare the components by laying them on a flat, soft surface from which they
cannot slide or fall off by themselves.
Carefully unravel the power cord, then attach the stake part to the underside
of the lamps and solar panel.
Make sure that all components are properly connected to each other. To
dismantle the unit, disconnect the components.
THE USE OF THE EQUIPMENT
The assembled lamp kit can be driven into soft soil or sand. Stones can
damage the stake. Do not use a hammer, etc., to drive the tip.
Remember to place the device in a location where it will not disturb anyone
and will not be subject to accidental drop, collapse or damage.
Make sure that there is no risk of the device falling and being damaged or
causing injury to people or animals.
The device should have free access to sunlight, which means that it should
not be installed in the shade of trees, bushes, under roofs, behind buildings or
other obstacles that restrict the access of sunlight to the cell installed in the
device. Restricting access to sunlight will result in the device's battery not
being fully charged, which in turn will cause the torch to work shorter after
dark.
To turn the lighting on or off, use the switch on the back of the unit The lighting
will turn on automatically if the device's battery has been charged and the
twilight sensor detects that dusk is falling.
8. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Cleaning should only be performed when the unit is switched off.
Switch off the device before cleaning. Regularly clean the photovoltaic cell in
the device To clean the photovoltaic cell and other parts, use a soft cloth
dampened with water and wrung out or a paper towel, then wipe it dry. Never
use rigid tools, chemicals, caustic agents or scrubbing agents to clean parts
of the torch. Do not use excessive force when cleaning as you may damage
the components of the torch.
