Mix 1 cup of fertilizer into 40 quarts of

potting mix and pre-moisten. Fill your
PLANTER to within 1" to 2" of the top
edge.

NOTE:

 We recommend our Organic

Self-Watering Potting Mix, as well as a
slow-release granular fertilizer, such as our
All Purpose Fertilizer.

Planting, Watering, and Care Tips

•    Fill the reservoir through the water fill holes (shown in Step 5). Check your soil

moisture regularly and fill as needed. This is especially important when your
plant starts to flower and set fruit. If the soil dries out, refill the reservoir and
water thoroughly from above to re-establish the wicking action. If you overfill the
reservoir, excess water will drain out through the side vents.

•    If you do need to move your PLANTER, use two people to lift it by the base of the

PLANTER. Do not try to lift it by the BASKET or supports.

•    We recommend adding 1 cup of fertilizer every 4-6 weeks. Gently rake the fertilizer

into the soil and then top-water to help disperse it.

•    In hot zones, place the planter in a spot that gets afternoon shade.
