Demeter Metal Composter

The Demeter Metal Composter is an easy and attractive way to compost food scraps and garden waste. It’s made from sturdy yet

lightweight powder-coated steel. The hinged lid allows you to easily add food materials, while the front door makes it easy to remove
finished compost. It even includes locks to help keep pests out.

Assembly

NOTE:

Assembly is easiest with 2 people. We recommend assembling your Compost Bin

in the spot you plan to keep it.

Step 1.

Examine the tops of the Corners and notice how there are two styles that are mirror

images of each other (Figure 1). Take one of each type of Corner and slide a Short Panel without
Holes into the openings pointed out in Figure 1.

NOTE:

The edges on the Corners should slot into the

cutouts on the Short Panel (Figure 2). Slide the Short Panel without holes to the bottom of the Corners, then
slide two Short Panels with holes on top of it.

Step 2.

Repeat Step 1 to attach the remaining Short Panels to the other

Corners.

Step 3.

Stand the assembled Panels and Corners parallel to each other

with the front side of the Short Panels facing out (Figure 2). Assemble
the front of the Composter by sliding the Long Panel with Door into
the open channels in the Corners pointed out in Figure 1. Position the
Door at the bottom of the Corners, then slide the Long Panel with Bar
on top of it, followed by a Long Panel with holes (Figure 3).

Step 4.

Slide the Long Panel without holes, followed by the remaining Long Panels with holes into the open Corners, making sure

the fronts of the Panels are facing out.

Step 5.

Place a Corner Cover over the Corners on one side of the Composter, lining up the holes with the ones in the Corners (Figure

4). Use your Phillips Screwdriver to insert a Bolt into the outside hole on each side. Repeat to attach a Corner Cover to the other
side of the Composter.
