To ensure a tidy cutting edge, thick branches should be cut in  

2 steps (Illustrations similar).

Verify that the following conditions are met before commencing  

work:
•  The tank has been filled with sufficient chain oil and the lubrication 

system has been checked (see 3. INSTALLATION).

• The chain is tensioned (see 5. MAINTENANCE).
To start:
The unit is fitted with a starting lock-out

 to prevent the unit from 

being turned on by accident.
