4. Putting into Operation

Always wear gloves, eye protection and ear pro-

tection when operating your shredder.

Switching On the Shredder :

Make sure the feeding funnel is empty before you switch on 
the shredder.

1. Plug the mains power extension cord into the shredder socket

and then into a mains power socket.

Switching Off the Shredder :

The cutting blades continue to move for a few

seconds after you switch off the shredder.

Do not turn off the motor until the shredder is completely empty
otherwise it may be difficult to turn the shredder on again.

Interruptions of Work / Environment :

Never leave the shredder unattended at the
working area. If you interrupt your work 
store the unit in a safe place.
Before moving the shredder to a different
place, always switch off the motor, unplug the
mains plug, and wait until the blades have 

stopped moving.
Never use the unit when it is raining or in
damp or wet areas.
Do not operate your shredder near swimming
pools or garden ponds.
Please observe the prescribed local quiet
times.
