If the results of your work with the Aerator become increasingly
worse due to knife wear, re-adjust the wear compensation.
You can adjust the wear compensation
steplessly and is set in the factory to
3 mm (can be re-adjusted by 7 mm).
In the transport position, the Aerator
cylinder is 5 mm above the ground.
1. Unplug it from the mains.
2. Place the Aerator on a flat grass
surface.
3. Place the Aerator lever
7
in aerating
position 1.
4. Turn the wear compensation wheel
9
until the tips of the knives touch the
grass.
5. Turn the wear compensation wheel
9
a ¼ revolution in an anti-clockwise
direction.
The aerator cylinder is set at 3 mm
aerating depth correctly.
The Aerator is subject to wear in use due to the way in which it
works. The more intensively the Aerator is used, the greater the
wear on the knives. Hard or very dry ground accelerates wear as
does excessive use of the Aerator.
