Lighting the burner:

Before each use, inspect all parts.

1. TURN CONTROL KNOB TO "

O

" OFF POSITION. 

2. Place a lit match on the lava rocks above the burner. 

3. Push and turn control knob counterclockwise to 

    HIGH      position. 
      

WarninG:

If the burner does not ignite within 5 seconds with the 

valve open, turn the burner control off and wait for 5 

minutes before repeating the lighting procedure. If the 

valve is left on, gas will continue to flow out of the burner 

and could accidently ignite with a risk of injury. 
4. Once the burner is lit, turn the control knob to adjust 

    the flame to desired height.

5. The normal flame is between 7.5 inches and 1 inch.

Disconnecting the propane cylinder: 

1. Make sure the control knob is in "

O

" Off position and wait 5 minutes until the appliance is cool. 

2. Disconnect the cylinder clockwise by hand.  

3. Store the cylinder in a proper location.

Care anD MaintenanCe

• Stubborn stains, discoloration and possibly rust pitting can occur from exposure to harsh outdoor 

 conditions.

• Be careful not let any powder or solvent come in contact with painted or plastic components as 

  damage may occur.

• Store the appliance in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

• After the burner and lava rocks are completely cooled down, use a soft brush to clean mild stains,    

  loose dirt and soil. Wipe with a soft cloth.

• Use a brush with alcohol to clean burner ports. Wait 3 to 5 minutes after cleaning burner before lighting.

• Burner maintenance inspection: 

   

1. Check the surface, burner must be clean and free of rust. 

   

2. Inspect the burner. If the burner tips or swings freely, it needs to be repaired or replaced.  

   

3. Check the screws. If loose, tighten the screws with a wrench before using.

   

4. Inspect and clean venturi, check carefully for spiders.

   

5. Inspect and clean burner flume periodically.

• The burner should be checked monthly. If there's evidence of breakage, damage or deformation, 

  the burner must be replaced prior to the appliance being put into operation. The replacement burner 

  must be that specified by the manufacturer.

• Use manufacturer approved or supplied replacement parts and accessories only, otherwise it may  

  void the warranty of this product and result in a hazardous condition.
