The charger will stop charging once the battery is fully charged (after 
approximately 3-5 hours). Press the red button 
on the battery to check the current charge 
level. Switch off the power source and remove 
the battery from the charger.

The charger may become warm when 
charging; this is normal and does not indicate 
a fault with the charger. 
 
 

Instructions for use 
 

1.

 

Make sure that the battery is fully charged. 

2.

 

Check that the machine is in good condition, air vents are clear, and 
blades are debris free and lubricated. 

3.

 

Place the shoulder strap over your shoulder and lift the machine, make 
sure that you feel comfortable holding it before you switch it on. 

4.

 

Switch the machine on by pressing the main switch then squeeze the 
handle to start cutting. 

5.

 

When you let go of the handle the machine will stop. 

6.

 

Always hold the product by the handles. Keep the handles dry to 
ensure safe support. 

7.

 

Do not over work yourself. Take regular breaks to ensure you can 
concentrate on the work and you have full control over the product. 

8.

 

When cutting wide hedges, cut in several stages, moving the blade in 
a sweeping motion. For optimum cutting performance tilt the blade 
slightly downwards. 

9.

 

Do not allow the machine to overheat. If it does, switch it off for at least 
30 minutes and allow to cool. 

10.

 

To prolong the life of the blade and motor, a small amount of 3 in 1 oil 
can be used to lubricate.
