CONNECT BACK TO SIDE PANELS
1. Insert 3/8” dowels (D) in four locations of back panel, see
Diagrams 1 & 2.
Tip: We recommend placing a drop of wood glue
in each dowel hole prior to placing the dowel.
2. Attach the back panel to each side panel by inserting the
installed dowels (D) into the holes in each post as shown
in Diagram 2.
3. Secure side panels to back
panel using 3” screws (A)
in predrilled holes as
shown in Diagram 2.
CONNECT BENCH TO ARBOR
1. Carefully lay arbor on backside.
2. Align the bench with the bottom rail of either side panel.
3. Use clamps if available to hold bench in place.
4. Fasten end of bench to side panel with 2 1/2” (B) screws
in each of the three pre-drilled holes as in Diagram 3.
5. Repeat step 4 for the other end of bench and for the two
pre-drilled holes in the rear of bench.
6. Remove clamps and carefully return arbor to upright
position.
ATTACH GABLE TO SIDE PANEL
1.
1. Align guide marks on the inside of one gable with top of
side panel posts as shown in Diagram 4.
2. Position gable on outside of posts and rest upon the notch
in each post top. Clamp in place if clamps are available.
3. Fasten with four 2” screws (C) through pre-drilled holes in
posts and into gable frame as shown.
4. Repeat steps 1 through 3 for second gable and side panel.
Remove clamps when done.

Tip: If a workbench is desired in place of a seat, align bench
instead with top rail of side panel.
Note: Notches on post tops must face outward.
