Web-based Graphical User Interface (GUI)
5.1
Overview
The Model 943-CE Tail Gas Analyzer can be monitored, configured and controlled by use of a
web-based GUI
on a personal computer connected to the analyzer via an ethernet connection,
either as a direct local connection or remotely through the plant’s local area network (LAN). The
necessary IP address for each type of connection is indicated in the
Config
panel’s
Network
sub-panel as described in Section 4.8.5. Once the PC is physically connected to the analyzer
via an Ethernet connection, and either the remote or local connection is shown on the analyzer
display as
Active
, simply type in the IP address of the active connection into the navigation bar
of a web browser running on the connected computer.
While other browsers may also be able to succesfully access the web GUI, for best
results Galvanic Applied Sciences recommends the use of Mozilla Firefox.
Any changes that are made to the analyzer configuration via the web GUI and saved
to the analyzer will be displayed
on the analyzer’s local display.
After entering in the IP address to the web browser navigation bar and pressing Enter, the web
GUI splash screen shown in Figure 43 will be displayed.

Once the web GUI has finished loading, the
Analysis
page described in Section 5.2.1 is shown.
The Brimstone web GUI is divided into two sections
– a
Navigation
menu shown in Figure 44
on the left and an information page on the right. The Navigation menu is used to navigate
through the various available information pages.
