CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
(fig. 3, 4)
In case when the water is hard which means water contains too much calcium and magnesium,
they can cause “white powder” problem and give heavy scales on the surface of water basin,
transducer and inner surface of the water tank. Be aware of the fact that a contaminated
ultrasound converter will not function properly! Never use any aggressive cleaning agents
for cleaning the humidifier (such as petrol, glass cleaner, furniture polish, or paint thinner) or any
other solvents!
We recommend:
1) Use cold boiled water or distilled water.
2) Clean the transducer, water tank and basin unit every week.
3) Change the water in water tank more often to keep it fresh.
4)
Make sure to pull out the water from the water tank and dry the water basin before you store
the unit unused for a long period of time.
5)
Clean the whole unit, and make sure that all parts of the unit are dried completely before
unused for longer period of time.
6) Do not use the chemical for cleaning.
How to clean the transducer:
1) Put 5-10 drops of cleaning abluent on the surface of the transducer, wait for 2-5 minutes;
2) Brush out the scale on the surface.
3) Rinse the transducer with clean water.
How to clean the basin unit:
1) Cleaning the water basin with soft cloth and the cleaning abluent if there is scale in it.
2)
If the scale is covered on the security switch, drop the cleaning abluent on the scale and
clean it out with the brush.
3) Rinsing the water basin with clean water.
How to clean the suction filter
1)
Pull out the grid (12) with a microfilter based in the the humidifier.
2)
Then fold up the filter (13) cover and check if it is necessary to carry out its maintenance/
replacement. Tap the dust out of the filter over a dustbin or to clean the filter through a
blowing (we recommend the filter cleaning outside of living area for hygiene reasons). If the
protection filter is very dirty, you can also rinse the pleated side of the filter under lukewarm
slow-running tap.

After drying, insert the filter into cover.
How to clean the cartridge filter
1)
Clean the cartridge filter after passing of about 200 l water through it, and more often when
using hard water or if a white deposit appears on the furniture.
2)
Remove the nozzle (1) from the water tank (4) and remove the tank from the unit body (9).
3)
Turn over the tank (4), unscrew the Cap with a valve (5) rotating it counterclockwise, unscrew
the cartridge filter rotating it counterclockwise.
