• Clean the HEPA filtr according to the cleaning instructions found in the manual.
• After this push the HEPA filter cleaning system back into position in the vacuum cleaner
until it snaps into place. Your vacuum cleaner is now ready for use again.
Note:
When the dust container is full, it is sensible to pull a plastic bag over it and to empty it into
this bag. This prevents the spilling of dust.
How to clean the hepa filter
It is very important to keep the filters clean to receive maximum performance from the
vacuum.
Clean the filter regularly and replace the filters when necessary.
Cleaning is best done when emptying the dust container.
HEPA Dust Cup Filter will stop most of the tiniest dust particles and airborne allergens
from re-entering the air you breathe. In fact it stops 99.97% of all particles as small as 0.3
microns-many times smaller thana human hair!
Because of this incredible filtration performance, the HEPA Dust Cup Filter will quickly
accumulate may fine dust particles inside the white filter folds that are difficult to see
but which will eventually block or reduce your suction power, if not cleaned properly. We
recommend washing it once a month or when suction appears to be reduced. To wash
your HEPA Dust Cup Filter, hold filter cartridge by frame flange and rinse under a tap until
all observable dirt has been removed. Some discoloration of the HEPA filter material may
occur, this is normal and will not affect the filter‘s performance. When finished, shake off
excess water.Do NOT wash in dishwasher. It is important that when you wash the HEPA
dust cup filter, you allow it to dry COMPLETELY before using again. We recommend 24
hours to air dry. DO NOT DRY IN DRYER.
The HEPA filter operating lifetime corresponds to about 10 to 15 washing cycles. After that,
the filter looses its performance and it should be replaced.
