Emptying dust container
If you find out that the suction performance of the vacuum cleaner is reduced, make sure
that the dust container is not full and if necessary, empty it. After pressing the dust bin
arrest button
A2
, remove the container from the cleaner by pulling slightly (pic. 3). Pull
out micro-filter
E4
and filter protector
E5
from the container, then place the container over
a dustbin and empty it into common municipal waste. For sanitary reasons we recommend
emptying the container outside residential premises.
cleaning dust container and cleaning filter
After the container has been emptied about 5 times, we recommend complete cleaning of
the suction system from the settled dust. All parts (e.g.
container, filter, filter protector
)
can be cleaned in running lukewarm water (e.g.
using a cloth or a soft brush
) and let to dry
thoroughly. Re-assemble individual parts in the opposite direction after it is completely dry.
cAUTION
– Do not switch the vacuum cleaner on and off by unplugging the power cord from a socket.
If the switch is in “ON” and the vacuum cleaner is leaning (e.g. against furniture, wall), the
vacuum cleaner can fall and it can be damaged due to the aggregate (motor) moment.
– Never vacuum impurities without protective filters on.
– The maximum suction effect will be reached with a clean filter and an empty container.
– Do not use any aggressive washing or cleaning agents or hot water to clean the filter.
– The dust container is not resistant to cleaning in a dishwasher!
– Neglecting the micro-filter cleaning may lead to breakdown of the vacuum cleaner!
– Make sure that the contact surfaces and the sealing elements are functional.
– We recommend replacing the filter once a year or when it cannot be cleaned properly
or if it is damaged.
–
The nozzle in this model is not suitable for use on carpets.
V. MAINTENANcE
Unplug the battery charger from the power supply before any maintenance. Store the va-
cuum cleaner at a dry place, far enough from heat sources (e.g.
fireplace, stove, heating
element
) and protect it against weather conditions (e.g.
rain, sunshine
). Treat the surface
of the vacuum cleaner (only when disconnected from the electric socket) with a soft and
wet cloth, do not use abrasive and aggressive cleaning agents! Never dry plastic moldings
over a heat source (e.g.
heater, electric/gas stove
). If the power cord becomes dirty, wipe
it with a damp cloth. Wind the power cord to the hooks on the bottom part of the vacuum
cleaner. When storing, always set the floor nozzle with the brush retracted, thus you will
prevent bending of the bristles.
Floor nozzle, brush
After any vacuuming it is recommended to check visually the brushes or collectors for
possible impurities. If there are some impurities, remove them.
storage
Store the appliance thoroughly clean on a dry, dustless place out of reach of children and
persons sui juris. Do not put the assembled rod vacuum cleaner on an uneven surface!
The cleaner must be placed on a flat surface where there is no danger of knocking over.
