Bar Graph
Use the bar graph to give you an indication of the performance of your
energizer. See the following Energizer functions to understand the bar graph.
Ba ery voltage
(Turn switch le )
Output voltage
(Turn switch right)
Green Segments Performing well. No ac on required.
Yellow Segments Ba ery needs charging. Your fence is under some load,
but s ll delivering an eff ec ve
shock but needs a en on.
Red Segments Ba ery needs immediate
maintenance. Your fence is under heavy load
and requires maintenance.
Dial Functions
Ba ery Check
The ba ery charge level is displayed on the bar graph. The number of LED’s
illuminated provides an indica on of remaining ba ery capacity.
Ba ery voltage will be displayed for approx. 15 seconds only. A er this, the
energizer will turn off the bar graph to conserve ba ery.
To recheck the ba ery, switch off then switch back to ba ery check.
Off
• Energizer is off
• If you are not using the energizer for extended periods, disconnect ba ery
from the energizer.
Full Power
• Energizer operates at maximum energy and normal pulse rate.
• Bar graph displays the approximate fence terminal voltage by pulsing.
• A er approx. 15 seconds, only the peak value LED fl ashes to indicate fence
condi on.
Random (B180/280)
The pulse interval is varied randomly maintaining eff ec ve stock control while
signifi cantly reducing ba ery consump on. Random will extend ba ery life by
up to three mes.
It is recommended that Random is used to extend ba ery life when controlling
stock familiar with electric fencing.
Night Save (B180/280)
The energizer automa cally adjusts to a slower pulse rate as night approaches
using light level detec on. Night save will extend the life of the ba ery by 50%.
Suitable for animals less ac ve at night.
