Log in Metal Gear Box NAS using its default IP address “169.254.X.X,”
(Non-DHCP based network), if you’re under a DHCP based environment,
use the delivery-attached SearchNAS.exe to find the Metal Gear Box NAS IP
address or directly type the default Network Neighbor name
“\\metalgearboxnas” in your computer’s file manager software to connect
to Metal Gear Box NAS user interface.
Identifying and using Metal Gear Box NAS on your network
After completing the hard disk format procedure, the default enabled
“Anonymous access” function would enable you identify Metal Gear Box NAS
on your windows based “Network Neighborhood.” The default NetBEUI name of
