Cooking in your microwave

1

Press 

Time Cook

, then use the number pad to enter the cooking time that you want.

Note

For example, to enter 3 minutes and 15 seconds, press

Note

You can check the power level during cooking by pressing 

Power Level

. To 

change it, enter a new power level (0–10).

If “PL-0” is selected, the microwave fan turns on with 0% power. You can use this 

level to remove an odor in the microwave.

Press 

Start

 to begin heating. 

OR 

For two-stage cooking, repeat steps 1-2 to program the second stage.

Note

Two-stage cooking lets you program two cook times and power levels at the same 

time.

Setting the clock

1

In standby mode, press and hold 

Clock/Timer

 for three seconds. The display shows “Hr 12” for 12-hour mode. If 

you want to use 24-hour mode (“Hr 24”), press 

Clock/Timer

 again.

Use the number pad to enter the current time (1:00–12:59), then press 

Start

 to confirm the setting. 

If the microwave beeps twice, the numbers entered are not invalid.

Using the kitchen timer

In standby mode, press 

Clock/Timer

. The display shows “00:00” and “TIMER”.

Use the number pad to enter the time (the maximum time is 99 minutes and 99 seconds), then press 

Start

. When 

the time reaches 0, the buzzer rings once.

Cooking quickly

1

Press 

Start 

to instantly cook something at 100% power for 30 seconds.

To increase the time in 30 second increments (except Auto Cook and 1LB Defrost), press 

Start

 repeatedly. The 

maximum cooking time is 99 minutes and 99 seconds.

Defrosting in your microwave

Defrosting by weight

1

Press 

Weight Defrost

. The display shows “0” and “DEF.”

Use the number pad to enter the weight of the item to be defrosted (in ounces). Input the weight must be 

between 1~96 ounces.

Press 

Start 

to start defrosting. The remaining cooking time is displayed.

Note

While defrosting, the microwave pauses and beeps to remind you to open the 

door and check the food. Turn your food over for uniform defrosting, then press 

Start

 to defrost for the remaining time.
