Your bath is simple to use and maintain. However, there are some basic guidelines
which should be followed to ensure you get the best out of your unit.
Intended use
To provide assistance when bathing by means of a door employed in the side of the
bath.
There is a locking handle employed for the purposes of locking or releasing the door.
Open the door by operating the handle mechanism located on the door by pushing it
fully forward until it releases the door.
To operate the unit, please follow these simple instructions:
1. Enter the bath, once inside, the door should be closed
2. Make yourself comfortable on the seat and secure the waste plug
3. Commence filling the bath with water at the required temperature. In the event
of the bath being overfilled, water may either drain naturally through the
overflow, or the plug should be temporarily removed to allow a sufficient
amount of water to be drained away.
4. Once the bath is filled to the required level the user can then close the taps
and enjoy your soak
5. When finished bathing release the waste and wait for the water to drain
6. Open the door once the bath is completely empty of water, open the door and
exit the bath
Helpful hints
•
Make sure the bathroom is warm before you decide to have your bath. In this
way you will be able to enjoy your bath fully.

A small towel draped across the shoulders whilst the bath is filling is also a
good way to ensure you are fully relaxed.

We suggest that, as the bath is filling, you wash yourself working from the toes
upwards so that as the water rises you are rinsed off automatically.

Keep a towel handy so that you can dry yourself as the bath empties.
Care and maintenance
Your walk-in bath is a high quality, precision-made unit. However, it does require a
small amount of regular care and attention from users to ensure that it will continue to
offer you many years of quality operation.
Your bath should be cleaned regularly using a soft, damp cloth in conjunction with
either a standard cleaning fluid (e.g. Fairy Liquid
) or a non-abrasive cream cleaner.
