Before attempting to use the appliance, perform the
following steps:
After unpacking, check for any damage or missing part. If in
doubt, do not use the appliance but contact your retailer
instead.
When the steam feature is used for the first time, before
steaming your fabrics, make sure you apply the steam jet to
a scrap piece of cloth and repeat the operation a couple of
times; this will eliminate any residues of the machining process.
The plug must be disconnected from the socket at all stages
of machine preparation.
Before using the appliance, fill the boiler to allow
steam to be generated:
-
loosen the cap on the fill bottle (R) provided;
-
fill the bottle with demineralised or tap water;
-
plug the bottle using the cap provided;
-
manually open the boiler fill cap (E) by pressing the cap
downwards while rotating it anticlockwise;

tilt the bottle on the boiler fill hole and pour the water in; for
this operation, you need to deactivate the safety device by
pressing the cap against the bottle
(Fig. 5)

When the maximum level is reached, the bottle will automatically
stop filling.

When the boiler is full, close the cap (E) by rotating it
clockwise; make sure it is well tight.
To use the appliance with detergent, follow the steps
below:

Remove the cap from the detergent tank (Q).

Fill the detergent tank with not more than 1.3 litres of water
and foam-free solution. The detergent should be diluted
according to manufacturer’s instructions.

Put the tank cap (Q) back into place.
PREPARING THE APPLIANCE READY FOR USE

The new multipurpose vacuum cleaner is also supplied with a specific foam and mould prevention
product that you can mix with virtually any type of task detergent (floor, textile detergents, etc.)
normally available on the market. However, you are advised to use low-foam detergents. Also,
remember that the detergent must be diluted as recommended on the product label.
