Make sure that the mains electrical installation (230 V
50/60Hz) is provided with automatic safety switch as
required by the applicable regulations in force.

Do not tug at the supply lead or at the appliance itself to
remove the plug from the wall socket

Unplug the appliance from the wall socket before filling
the tank with water.

Do not use the appliance in rooms saturated with gas.

Do not vacuum flammable, explosive or corrosive substances.

Do not leave the appliance running unattended; ALWAYS
switch it off before moving away from it.

Before attempting to carry out any maintenance or cleaning
operation, ALWAYS remove the plug from the power supply
socket.

Do not touch the appliance with wet hands or feet while
the plug is in the socket.

Never immerse the appliance in water or liquids. Use a
damp cloth to clean. Avoid using solvents or detergents as
these may damage the outer finish.

Should you use extension leads, make sure that these are
suitable for the electric load in use to avoid dangers for the
operator or for the overall safety of the room where the
appliance is used. Unsuitable extension leads can result in
malfunctioning of the appliance.

In case of appliance failure or malfunction, contact your
dealer or an authorised GAGGIA service engineer. Do not
attempt to disassemble the appliance.
WARNING
Any servicing of the supply cable must exclusively be carried
out by personnel from the GAGGIA after-sales service.

Before using the appliance, read these instructions carefully. Under no circumstances
shall the manufacturing Company be held responsible for any damage to people or
property that may be caused by a failure to follow the instructions given below or by
improper use of the machine.
