Cooking Utensils:

To save both time and energy,

we recommend the use of

good quality saucepans and

pots with flat bases.  The

diameter of each saucepan or

pot base should never be

smaller than the cooking zone

its used on.  Always keep

saucepan and pot bases free

from dirt.

Cooking Hints :

   Pan lids should fit as tightly

as possible.

  Sauces and soups should

not have more liquid than

absolutely necessary.

  Cook vegetables in their 

own juices or use as little

water as possible.

  When cooking meat and 

vegetables in a pan, add as

little fat as possible - just

enough to cover the bottom

of the pan.
