If damage caused by water is due to a fault in our
Aqua-Stop system, we shall compensate private users.
This liability warranty shall apply for the service life of the
appliance.
A claim under the warranty can only be considered
provided Aqua-Stop has been properly installed and
connected to the appliance according to our instructions,
including a properly installed Aqua-Stop extension (original
accessory). Our warranty does not cover defective supply
lines or fittings up to the Aqua-Stop connection on the tap.
In principle, appliances which feature the Aqua-Stop
system do not require monitoring during operation or
safeguarding afterwards by turning off the tap. Only if you
are away from home for a prolonged period, e.g. several
weeks holiday, should you turn off the tap.
