Power-on Procedure
Power on the server using any of the following methods:
⚫
If PSUs are properly installed but are not connected to an external power supply, the server is
powered off. Connect the external power supply to the PSUs. Then the server will be powered
on with the PSUs.
⚫
If the PSUs are properly installed and connected to the external power supply, and the server
is in standby status (the power indicator is steady yellow),
Press the power button on the front panel to power on the server.
Power on the server using the iBMC WebUI.
Log in to the iBMC WebUI, choose
System
>
Power
>
Power Control
, click
Power
On
, and click
OK
.
Power on the server using the iBMC CLI.
Log in to the iBMC CLI, run the
ipmcset -d powerstate -v 1
command, and enter
y
or
Y
.
Power on the server using the Remote Virtual Console.
Log in to the Remote Virtual Console. On the KVM screen, click

on the
toolbar, select
Power On
, and click
OK
.
